The Ministry of National Education and those responsible for developing the education programs and curricula have been striving to build the Moroccan national character that is full of values of belongings and pride for the glorious historical epics of the ancestors, which had an enormous influence in directing many events not only in Morocco, but also in the world, it was mainly the Almoravids stage.

The annexation of the Almoravids to large areas of western Sudan had a great impact on the region's influence by the Arab-Islamic Moroccan culture, this led the lives of the Negroes to change and became similar to the Arabs in many fields and in their riding of horses and camels, while African schools became similar to Moroccan schools, where the Moroccan pen adopted in writing, the Maliki books were adopted in the teachings curricula, as the books of Alkadi Ayyad and Muwatta of Imam Malek and the Grand Modowana of the Fakih Sahnoun.

It is noteworthy that there are special lessons in this subject that are included in the second year of high school, they have an important presence in the History school subject that has been adopted since the dawn of the independence until today.

However, it is noteworthy that the curricula that were adopted recently by the Ministry has drastically reduced the spaces allocated to this topic in form and content, and therefore comes the importance of this article in defining and providing valuable data to the emerging generation about an important milestone in the history of Morocco, through which it can strengthen its knowledge and recognition of the central role played by the Almoravids in linking the bridges of civilizational, religious, cultural and linguistic communication between Morocco and the regions of Western Sudan, as well as leaving a valuable legacy which still present today: in the area of urbanization, culture and religion.
