Abstract EN

This Study which is entitled “ The Arabic Alphabets and their indications “ discusses the single letters starting with “ Aleph and ending with “ Ya “.

“ The results have showe that each letter has three Characteristics .

First, it has a sound transmitted through air and heard by the ear.Second, sound is translated into letter to be written by the hand and seen by the c- eye.

Third it is a symbol measured by a Pen.

The meanings of these alphabets reflect the Arab environment, land , sky.

Animals, plants inanimates, habits, morals and traditions.

Some letters have reflected Several different and similar ,eanings.
