سعت الدراسة لتقديم تصور للمشهد العام لبحوث العلاقات العامة الرقمية الأجنبية و العربية لاستكشاف ما إذا كانت التقنيات قد أحدثت نقلة نوعية في أجندتها و نموذجها أم لا.
باستخدام التحليل التجميعي تم اختيار عينة عشوائية تمثلت في مجلتين من مجلات العلاقات الدولية (Public Relations Review /Journal of Public Relations Research و تحليل جميع البحوث و الرسائل العربية الموجودة على الإنترنت (العدد=122) و توصلت الدراسة إلى تراجع البحوث العربية عن مواكبة السياق العالمي حيث أحدث التطور التقني تغييرات في بحوث العلاقات العامة الرقمية الأجنبية دون العربية التي لم تظهر بواكيرها إلا 2007 حيث لا تزال تتبني النهج القديم بينما بدأت البحوث الأجنبية عام 1992.
Abstract EN
The study sought to provide a visualization of the general scene of foreign and Arab digital public relations research, to explore whether the technologies have brought about a qualitative shift in the public relations research agenda and model or not.
The study employed the analysis-Met method and analyzed 163 research, published Public Relations Research &Public Relations Review Journals; in addition to 137 Arab researches and dissertations on the internet.
The study found that foreign digital public relations studies are gradually shifting from description to theory, while the majority of Arab research is still in the description stage.
