The present study aimed to identify the climate prevailing in high school, and its relationship to mental health among students of this stage, The study reached the following results: • The level of the school climate prevailing in the secondary school: Mustafa bin Boulaid High School is generally average.

There is no statistically significant relationship between the school climate and mental health in general.

• The presence of a negative and statistically significant relationship between the school climate variable (the use of punishment) on the one hand and the mental health variables (sense of competence, self-confidence and the overall degree of mental health) on the other hand.
