The Literary sources did not covered all domains of the ancient Maghreb history, it left gaps.

to fill this void, historians rely on the discovered archaeological material, the amulets ( 9 C to 146 BC).

They were discovered in Carthage, and considered part of that material which has not prompted adequate study, especially Arabic ones.

Therefore, this research is an attempt to cover some of the aspects that this archaeological material contained, in terms of its forms and types, and from there its importance to the Carthaginian individual.

Based on the previous studies and their information, and depending on the historical descriptive and analytical methodology, we conclude that the widespread use of amulets was a result of their great importance in the Carthaginian beliefs, and it included all areas of life, religious, secular and even the other life.
