Abstract EN

This article attempts to provide a definition of cognitive rhetoric from the perspective of one of the pioneering cognitive linguists, Mark Turner, who has specialized in this field in recent decades٫ With his project of applying new cognitive theories to literary discourses in particular.

He is one of the pioneers who took it upon themselves to research this new specialty٫ and establish its foundations theoretically and practically.

In short٫ I attempt to introduce a practical model of cognitive rhetoric as suggested by Mark Turner, and to introduce this new field in order to going beyond the classic view of rhetoric in general, with Its reduced view that still prevails.

In this way we seek a broader goal of calling for a re-reading of our Arabic rhetoric from a new epistemological perspective٫ and why don't we build new theories that inspire and add to the pioneering achievements of the West.
