Abstract EN

Through this research, we aim to address the issue of fishing training and its effectiveness in reducing business accidents to protect the human resource in the field of maritime security, and to raise the importance of implementing safety and security procedures and standards on board ships to reduce the rate of professional accidents.

We have relied on the descriptive analytical approach to get to the truth of the phenomenon studied, and the quantitative and qualitative analysis method has been used to present and interpret field study data.

The results of the study resulted in ignorance of the causes of accidents, lack of training about risks and ways to avoid them lead to the emergence of behaviours that cause accidents, so respect for safety and security standards contributes to reducing work accidents.
