The CLG is an enigmatic thought offering a set of theoretical avenues for the study of language in a scientific setting, but which clears the way for the quarrels and disparate interpretations emanating from the contradictions and ambiguities in the book.
Redefining a tangible object of linguistics has been an epistemological obstacle forcing its institutionalization as an autonomous discipline, this is perhaps due to the heterogeneity of the language.

Le CLG est une pensée énigmatique proposant un ensemble de pistes théoriques pour l'étude de la langue dans un cadre scientifique, mais qui a aéré la voie pour des querelles et des interprétations disparates émanant des contradictions et d'ambigüités qu'il livre.
Redéfinir un objet tangible de la linguistique a été un obstacle épistémologique contraignant son institutionnalisation comme une discipline autonome, cela est du à sa globalité, peut-être, à l'hétérogénéité de la langue.
