The fact that legal translation is a process of transition between two different legal systems having their own legal concepts costitutes the first difficulty facing the legal translator.

This paper aims to shed light on the problem of translating legal concepts in light of the divergence of legal systems.

For this purpose, we will try to highlight the specificity of legal translation and define legal concepts.

We will also discuss the problem of the divergence of legal systems and we will see the most important solutions and techniques that help the translator overcome this difficulties when transferring legal concepts
