In the twenty-first century, transcontinental corporations have become among the international actors with geostrategic security roles similar to those of states, where their interests are determined according to more complex patterns than the economic determinants for which they were established.

Accordingly, And apart from being a key player in the equation of a Global Governance, they engage, globally, in continuous interactions with a wide range of organizations and individuals, in the so-called a 'New Corporate Diplomacy'.

In this context, these corporations, as some hold the view, might be a foreign policy instrument and might act as a driving principle behind state policies, In order to pass political and security projects that harm world security and stability.
