إعترف المشرع الجزائري بحرية المعتقد و ممارسة الشعائر الدينية لغير المسلمين الأجانب على التراب الوطني من خلال عدة نصوص قانونية من أهمها الدساتير الجزائرية المختلفة و تشريعات أخرى مثل قانون الحالة المدنية و قانون الأسرة و قانون الإعلام و أكثر من ذلك فقد نظم هذه الممارسات بموجب الأمر06-03 المؤرخ في 28 فيفري 2006 الذي يحدد شروط و قواعد ممارسة الشعائر الدينية لغير المسلمين في الجزائر من خلال تخصيص أماكن للعبادة لهذه الفئة كما صدرت أيضا عدة ممارسات تنظيمية أخرى حيث لا يجوز ممارسة التظاهرات الدينية دون الحصول على إذن مسبق من الجهة المختصة و ذلك من أجل حماية هذه الممارسات.
Abstract EN
The Algerian legislature recognized the freedom of belief and religious practice of non-Muslims on national soil through several legal texts, the most important of which are the various Algerian constitutions and other legislation, such as the Civil Status Act, the Family Law, the Media Law, and more.
Several other regulatory practices have also been issued where religious demonstrations may not be held without prior permission from the competent authority in order to protect such practices.

La législation algérienne a reconnu la liberté de croyance et la pratique religieuse des non-musulmans sur le sol national à travers plusieurs textes juridiques, notamment les différentes constitutions algériennes et d’autres lois, telles que la loi sur l’état civil, le code de la famille, la loi sur les médias, et bien d'autres encore.
Plusieurs autres pratiques réglementaires ont également été émises lorsque des manifestations religieuses ne peuvent avoir lieu sans l’autorisation préalable de l’autorité compétente afin de protéger de telles pratiques.
