The emergence of financial derivatives contracts was not a coincidence but rather a necessity, However, it is considered one of the dangerous tools to use as it is characterized by many risks, and its excessive use, widespread and bad use may lead to harm to its users, and for this we will address in this research paper the economic importance of these tools as well as their risks and repercussions of bad use on a number of major institutions and banks, and how to manage the risks of derivative financial instruments, so every investor must know and study these tools well before entering into them.
