Abstract EN

The current study included some of the andecological properties to the course of Al Khalaa River in Messan province from the starting point of its fellow from Tigris River to the point of its boundaries in the three branches (Al Hsaichi, Um Altus and AL Zubair) and then its end point at Al Hueaza marsh.

The study revealed that the course of this river influenced by the andecological properties of Tigris River which effect by its turn on morphological properties of longitudinal sector of Al Khalaa River.

This affected clearly the watery discharge which left its own imprint on the morphological process in the course particularly on the processes of depositions and carving.

This study expressed the main gemorphological forms that exist within the sector of this course river exactly in the area of the current study.

This study depended on field work in addition to up to date computer programs (ARC gis 9.3) and the new visualized shows in that area.

All these information have been characterized to serve the purpose of the study.
