Abstract EN

The aim of the study was to find out the psychological and psychopathological characteristics of the deviant children who live in the re-education center, in order to design a Re-education and rehabilitation program that goes with their psychological needs.

We adopted the clinical approach, and we used two techniques represented in the semi-directed clinical interview and the Test of Measuring the Socialization of the Child and Adolescent (TSEA), which were applied to a group of ten children.

The results revealed a number of characteristics pertaining to the cases which have an inhibited psycho-social type of profile that means the inability to verbalize about the internal psychological state of the person concerning emotions, fantasies and representations.

Furthermore, those children are incapable of social integration, and it also appears to us that they have difficulties in expressing their emotions.

This is why they recur to the acting out and psychological discharge as an alternative.
