Abstract EN

This study aims to demonstrate the role of risk capital in financing small and medium enterprises in Algeria, and with the aim of knowing what this role is; the most important venture capital companies in Algeria have been shed light on, in order to identify the advantages that make them an effective financing alternative.

The study found that the activity of venture capital companies in Algeria is very small and faces many obstacles and difficulties that prevent them from playing the role assigned to them, which calls for the necessity to exert more efforts to promote this type of companies.
