Abstract EN

This study deals with an important issue of the common history issues of the countries of the Maghreb, and it is a historical opportunity that motivates researchers to present new readings and approaches to them away from the political, circumstantial and even ideological readings that printed previous writings.

Most of the historical writing considers the Tangiers conference a successful experience, indeed, it goes so far as to consider it a historical reference for the unity of the Maghreb, which is still to this day just a dream and a project has not matured yet, despite the availability of success factors, this study has largely focused on the success factors of this experiment as well as the reasons for failure, at the same time, it is a call to the necessity of going beyond history, considering our failed past experiences as successful historical references, because that will lead us to repeat failure.
