Islam consider bread winning and craftsmanship a religious act of worship upon which men get rewarded.

The concept of worship is not confined too prayer, fasting and pilgrimage only but it extends to all kinds of employment, crafts, professions and activities experienced by people to achieve their individual and societal needs.

The Holy Qura'n mentioned some crafts and professions that prophets were practicing.

The prophetic hadith also referred such crafts and professions and encouraged practicing them.
