Small and medium enterprises play a vital role in the economy, Which attracted the attention of many countries, And Given the financing challenges facing these institutions, Make the service industry for small and medium enterprises a strategic objective for banks after it was difficult to serve, This prompted many banks in the Arab countries to develop strategies and establish specialized units to provide banking products to small and medium-sized companies, Including the development of services of credit information systems.

This study aims to examine the reality of developing credit information systems in the Arab countries, And the importance of developing its services in support of financing small and medium enterprises, The study concluded that credit information systems have achieved development in Saudi Arabia, Palestine and Egypt and achieved the highest credit efficiency, Where its services contributed to attracting a large segment of small and medium enterprises
