Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the role of information technology in the development of the management of the municipality of M'sila from the perspective of a sample of the administrators, we discussed the most basic concepts related to information technology and its components (hardware, software, databases, communications, people) and Traditional management functions ( Planning, organization, leadership, control) and the nature of those functions under IT.

We relied on the descriptive approach and the syrvey as an essential tool for gathering information.

The sample of the study consisted of 60 administrative staff members of the municipality of M'sila.

In order to achieve the aims of the study, the hypothesis was tested based on the simple regression method, using the SPSS programme, and we found that there is a significant impact of the uses of information technology in the management of the municipality under study.
