This research attempted to discuss the problem of attributing the book known as "Al-Hawadith" to its author With the study of the history of the Jews and Christians of Baghdad in the seventh century AH / thirteenth century AD, Since this book was first published, it is erroneously attributed to the historian Ibn al Fouti, who died in 723 AH/1323AD After the researcher tried to express his opinion on this subject, he followed the author's narratives about the Jews and Christians of Baghdad, and the study showed several results regarding their religious institutions and the position of the Abbasid and Mughal authorities as well as the general population in Baghdad towards them.
