Abstract EN

This paper addresses the issue of governance in one of Algeria's most important public institutions, the University, and the most prominent barries that it encounters in the light of the increasing interest in this subject recently, both internationally and domestically, due to the pressures that these institutions are subject to change on one hand, and at the level of the outstanding role they play in the progress of societies through preparing human resources and intellectual leaders in various scientific and professional fields on the other hand.

One of University governance, as a creative mechanism, greatest requirements is to immunize inspiring leaders, and create strong strategic vision of institutional direction, philosophy of success, and investment in all the ethical responsibility provided by its components (transparency, participation, right accountability and justice) and social responsibility.

However, authorities face difficulties due to the environment and the lack of opportunities and resources.
