The adoption of a rational policy by health institutions to eliminate waste resulting from various medical activities has become an important issue in order to preserve one of the fundamental rights which are the right to health and to safety.

The citizen should not to be exposed to the risk of spreading epidemics and serious diseases caused by medical waste.

Therefore, it is the duty of the State to manage its health facilities concerning the treatment of medical waste and to take the necessary measures at all stages of sorting, managing and processing medical activities in order to ensure health safety.
