One of the major purposes of Islam is to maintain honor and descent in order to sustain life and the survival of the human species.

For this reason, Islam has legitimated marriage with all its terms and conditions while he has forbidden adultery, and everything that leads to it, to preserve the genealogy of the people, reassuring every person to the safety of his/her descent and the descent of his/her children.

Therefore, whoever uses any means other than marriage and has a son, he bears a great burden with Allah Almighty because of the deprivation of this child from descent, inheritance, custody, and his legitimate rights.

In return, Islam recommended that this child be guaranteed, cared for, respected and prove his dignity.
