2019.

: The issue of fighting finicial and administrative corruption is considered as a significant issue, taking into account smuggling criminal proceeds from the risk to the country of origin.

According to the jurists of international law, this procedure has opened new horizons in the fight against corruption, and for that reason the United Nations Convention against Corruption has given the issue of asset recovery a great importance, as it singled out Chapter V, and considered in Article 51 of it, that "recovery of assets is a basic principle in this agreement" and it urged the States parties to provide each other with the greatest amount of help and assistance in this field; however, there is no doubt that the process of recovering the looted money isn't such a simple process, given the difficulties and obstacles that stand in the way of its realization.
