Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to find out the contribution of entrepreneurship in the economic development in Algeria, and to analyze the various statistics based on the available data.

The results of the study indicated that the contracting company contributes to economic development through the provision of jobs and its development from year to year, as well as contribute to the increase of GDP and the obvious role in the formation of value added outside the hydrocarbons sector.

However, their contribution to export promotion outside the hydrocarbon sector remains weak.

Some suggestions were made, the most important of which is to continue to improve the legislative and legal framework to facilitate administrative procedures and make them more flexible to establish this type of institutions, strengthen the support bodies of entrepreneurship by giving them competencies and expertise in various fields in addition to expanding their geographical scope at the national level.
