The scholars have discussed the phenomenon of separation in religion in analysis and criticism.

The hadiths of separation differed in their validity, their meanings, and their legitimate meanings.

This paper comes to look at the approaches that were employed to read these hadiths, and to focus on the maqasid approach to re-understanding in the light of objectives of the Sharia.

The research concluded that the lack of understanding of the hadith of the difference and its examples from the texts of the Shari'a is caused by treating them in an isolated and piecemeal manner without judging the objectives of the Sharia.
