In this study, the researcher touches upon revealing the importance of this type of sources, tagged with Cairo Geniza documents, in studying the economic history of the Islamic world in the medieval era, as they help in obtaining various information about the types of stores and their prices, land and house prices, rental values, living expenses, local currency exchange rates and currencies.
