Abstract EN

The study aims to provide an objective and fair assessment of the state security court in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in terms of the extent provided for minimum fair trial guarantees regarding its formation only.

This is a guarantee of natural judge, which requires the necessity to trial a person before his judge and a guarantee of the independence of the judge in accordance with the statement that no authority on the judge in his judgment except his conscience and not to follow any party whatsoever, and without other safeguards relating to the investigation and trial procedures before them.

The study sought to check balance equation between society's interest in the security and interests of the individual in fair judgment.
