Abstract EN

This research paper aims at shedding light on the policy of online education that the Algerian universities adopted so as to adapt with the constraints imposed by Covid-19 Pandemic; in addition, this paper seeks to find the extent that this policy contributes in achieving the continuity of university education from the one side and replacing face-to-face with the online education from the other side.

This problematic is analyzed through an online questionnaire to identify students' attitudes towards the applied distance education in their universities.

The aim here is to access the effectiveness of this method in the realization of a continuous learning process and to reveal its obstacles.
