Civil society organizations: a mechanism to consolidate the values of citizenshipThe concept of civil society emerged and evolved in Western society, has developed in parallel with the concept of citizenship, which is in fact a civilized voluntary behavior by the individual in the interest of their country, based on the values and principles of people towards their country and society.

This study attempts to understand the nature of the concept of civil society and the concept of citizenship and their historical and practical interaction, and the role played by civil society in strengthening the concept of citizenship in societies.
