Style is rooted in rhetoric as ti is (no more than) part of rhetoric communication, scholars / people don’t agree on the nature of the relation-ship between rhetoric and style.

some believe / think that style originated from old rhetoric and froms its basics since they share the same features / characteristics.

rhetoric is ancients stylistics that achieves eloquency.

accordringly, stylistics has gone beyond normative limits and built complementary relationship with rhetoric wich is considered by its turn an independent science called modern rhetoric.
