Scorpion is a common arthropod in the ancient Iraqi environment and to the present , so the arts and cuneiform writings have shown the existence of Scorpio since ancient times ,This research aims to shed light on this animal because it has a great impact on human life especially since the human in Mesopotamia was living in an agricultural environment suitable for the living of many animals including the scorpion, so Thus we find through the cuneiform texts that the scorpion has acquired a great place in religious thought and has been symbolized to many gods
