This study tries to shed light on the history of the continuous attempts at renewal of Arab poetry in general and Iraqi in particular for decades, whether in form, subject, or subjective significance, and everything related to a special creative meaning that characterized these attempts, which distinguished them from all previous experiences, for what distinguished this Renewal of what was represented by its comprehensiveness, depth and humanity, comprehensiveness that was demonstrated as a real response to the human desire for freedom from all obstacles and crises produced by the reality of the Arab individual as well as the mental deposits and psychological repercussions left by the past time.

All of this was a clear and tangible reflection on art in general, and poetry in a more specific way, which contributed to radical transformations that affected it at its core.
