This research aims to show the value of Al-Zubaidi's work as an Andalusian linguist, representing a linguistic school that pays attention to the branches, detailing and simplifying them.

It also hopes that it will help facilitate reference to the edition of the great orientalist Ignazio Guidi and highlight its value.

The research includes the following points: Abu Bakr Al-Zubaidi, introduction to the book and its relationship to the book of Sibaway, manuscripts and criticism editions of the book, the Italian orientalist Ignazio Guidi, the methodology of text Criticism, the translation of the introduction from the Italian language, and the Arabic criticism edition.

The most important results of the research: The Guidi edition has remained in circulation for more than a century, despite its difficulties in research, and his method is Disciplined in editing and commenting, and the Arabic publication of the book did not provide any a real addition.
