Abstract EN

This study aims at exploring the predictive value for admission standard that followed in King Saud University and to identify the relativity importance for these standards.

The sample of this study collected from (7236) students (male & female) from King Saud University in all its fields whose spend one academic year in a Bachelor’s Degree.

To achieve the study aims، it used analytical descriptive method and extract descriptive statistics for this sample to know the nature of data and distribute it.

The results of analysis decline and correlation coefficient through examining the variables of under study which represented in the accumulative average for high school and student’s mark in general abilities examination and student’s mark in achievement examination in addition to gender and college type and its relationship with accumulative average for university achievement.

There is a positive relationship and statically significant at the level of (0.01).

The value of correlation coefficient reached (0.63).

The results of analysis gradual decline showing that the more individual variables in the predicative for the related variable is an achievement admission examination it contributed with a percent (34 %).

Then accumulative average in high school level with (26 %) after that the mark of general abilities examination with a (19 %) for explanation the disparity in the accumulative average for student in the first university year.

The strong predicative differ for admission standards with the difference of student gender and college type.
