The debates are based on methods of persuasion between the interlocutors; For one party to try to influence the other; To persuade him to establish an argument against him, I wanted to examine that debate that brought together two flags of debate literature in the Arab and Islamic heritage.

To study the methods of persuasion they have from a rhetorical point of view, and it relied on the method of rhetorical analysis, and the research took place in an introduction and introduction, and five topics are: The first topic: persuasion by the method of reasoning, the second topic: persuasion by the method of interrogation, the third topic: persuasion by the method of condition, the fourth topic: persuasion In the method of affirmation, the fifth topic: persuasion by the method of awareness, and I have reached through this study: Abi Saeed Al-Serafi surpassed Matta bin Yunus in methods of persuasion in the debate in terms of quantity and quality.
