Abstract EN

This research deals with the standardization of expressions, their correct level and degrees according to the Arabic scholars.

It is an applied study of standardization in the vocabulary of “Lisan Al Arab” by Ibn Manzur (d.711 AH).

The research started with an Introduction in which the researcher mentioned briefly the Arabic dictionaries, their schools, the topic of research and the reason for its choice.

Then comes a Preface in which the researcher presented the standardization and the correct level according to our scholars.

Then, the researcher proceeds to the application of the vocabulary items in “Lisan Al Arab” to indicate their degrees and level of correctness in this huge encyclopedic dictionary.

Then comes the conclusion of the research with its findings and recommendations, then its postscripts; then, the list of sources and bibliography.
