As a social institution that seeks to develop educational values, especially national ones that we often see in the history and civic syllabus, the school confirms the premise that the curriculum is a mirror that reflects the great trends of societies.

In the density of the study programs, and the large number of training in the regiment, not to mention the technological momentum, the lessons lack more effective means to question the values that they contain and stand out in the form of living personalities who interact with the student, and this is what is presented professionally by the educational theater, which takes the theater as a means, and from education and content guaranteed, through simple theatrical techniques, and here the goal of this study, which seeks to reveal the importance of educational theater in its implantation of the national values adopted in the curriculum.

That's why we find ourselves faced with the following problem: How can educational theatre be a means of developing the values of citizenship in algerian school? .To answer them, we discussed the educational theater with a concept and objectives, general values and values of citizenship and how the theater can contribute to the development of these values.
