Abstract EN

This study aims at exploring the effect of cloud computing applications in developing the knowledge and performance of digital instructional design skills and college female students’ satisfaction with them.

The study sample included (39) female students attending the College of Education at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University who studied Educational Technologies during the academic year 1438/1439.

The descriptive analytical approach was used in introducing the theoretical framework, discussing literature of the study and building its tools.

A quasi-experimental research approach was also used in applying the study experiment and its tools.

The study tools included an achievement test for measuring the level skill performance as well as a satisfaction measure to determine how satisfied college students are with applying cloud computing applications in the learning process.

The results showed statistically significant differences between the pre and post applications of achievement tests and the skill performance measure in favor of the post application in both cases.

The results also showed that college students are totally satisfied with applying cloud computing applications in the learning process.

To conclude, the study gives a number of recommendations stressing the importance of applying cloud computing applications in the learning process
