In the contemporary world and over the last century, the fate of some countries, especially Iran and Egypt, has been very similar, and many of their social issues are identical.

Salah Abdul Sabur, a well-known Egyptian poet, and Ahmad Shamloo, one of the great pioneers of modern Persian poetry, have not been unaware of this, and have dealt with it in many of their works.

In this article, which is written in an analytical descriptive way, it compares social issues in the poems of these two poets.

The two poets have poetic similarities in many respects, although they may not be influenced by each other in many ways.

But we want to express the similarities and differences in the poetry of these two poets in the field of social issues such as poverty, tyranny and corruption in society and patriotism.
