Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the impact of teaching by Posse Strategy in the achievement and retention in geography among students in the fourth grade literary, it also aimed to identify Posse Strategy and to what extent it is applied among fourth grade students in Iraqi schools.

The study followed descriptive and analytical method.

The study sample consisted of (30) students of the fourth grade preparatory school in the city of Baghdad in the first semester of the year (2018/2019).

The students were divided into two groups of The experimental groups were taught using the Posse Strategy and the control group taught in the ordinary method.

The study found that there are significant positive differences in achieving In geography as a result of their teaching according to Posse Strategy compared to the achievement of students in the control group, which was taught in the traditional way.

And in the light of the results recommended the study to teach in accordance with the Posse Strategy because of the impact of Achievement and retention of fourth graders in geography
