Abstract EN

The current study aimed at ;recognizing the reality of societal participation at general secondary education ,and recognizing the mest recent societal variables that face the general secondary education.

The study also aimed at presenting the obstacles of societal participation at this stage and setting a suggested proposal to activate the role of societal participation in supporting general secordary education.

The perspective method was used as the study mebhod.

The researcher prepared a questionnaire as a sbudy tool.

It was applied on a sample of managers and teachers.

whose number was (800) at general secondary schools in Assiut governorate.

The study came down to most important findings ,which are represented in ; the weakness of social work culture , the unclear missin of general secondary education for many social leaderships and the lack of out came from the societal participation in comparisen of its cost .
