Abstract EN

The study mainly aims to reveal the relationship between social support and death anxiety among a sample of elderly people residing in social care homes and some demographic variables like gender and duration of stay in the house.

The sample of the study consists of (80) male and female of the elderly, who were selected with simple random inspection from the Social Care Home in Makkah from the period of their residence in the house ranging between (one year to less than 5 years).

The measurement of the social support scale prepared by (Nasser, 2009) and the death anxiety scale prepared by (Al-Qaq 2016) was applied on the sample of study.
