The objective of the research was to identify the effectiveness of the training in Self-Compassion in reducing the negative self-criticism of the mentally gifted high school students and to identify the continuity of the effectiveness of the program.

The sample included 18 students from high school students, With an average age of (18.1) years, and a standard deviation (0.601), divided into an experimental group of (9) students and a control of 9 students.

Passive, and training program using Self-Compassion, The results revealed that there were statistically significant differences in (0.01) between the mean scores of the experimental sample levels before and after the application of the program on the negative self-measure scale of the secondary school students in its dimensions for the benefit of the post-measurement and the ence of statistically significant differences between the average grade levels of the experimental sample In the post-secondary and follow-up measures on the negative self-esteem scale of high school students in its dimensions.
