The research aims to identify the negative and positive effects of the work of women in the security institutions.

To achieve this goal, the researcher used the descriptive approach because of its compatibility with the research objectives.

The researcher used the tool to gather information from the research sample.

) Working half of them from the Ministry of Defense and the other half from the Ministry of the Interior, and applying the questionnaire on the research sample and unloading data and processing them statistically, the researcher reached the following results: 1-The exit of women to work in security institutions has negative psychological effects on women working more than the positive effects 2-Children are exposed to negligence and lack of follow-up and advice by the working mother as a result of their preoccupation with their responsibilities in the work, whether outside the house or inside 3-The husband has negative effects as a result of his wife's joining the security work as a result of her constant concern with the difficulty of this area on the one hand and the surrounding security conditions on the other hand
