Abstract EN

This research dealt with the study of the structure of the words and methods ofinterpretation of language in “Maejam Rawdat Al-Lugha for Dr.

Ahmed Al-Khani”.

As itdealt with the methods of control, which are varied, the author of this lexicon paid attention tothe known setting methods, such as setting using (pen) and setting the name of the indicationand setting by an example, and it had neglected some of methods such as setting bymentioning the adjective of letter.

(The research dealt with some of the words of differenttuning in the light of old and modern lexicons.

The study also discussed ways of interpretingthe word and explaining it.

It has presented a number of ways in which the author of thelexicon relied upon, such as interpretation by opposite in the linguistic, synonyms, causal andmetaphorical contexts.
