This research explains the scientific influence of the School of Karbala on the Development of the School of Al-Najaf from (1169 AH / 1756 AD) to (1281 AH / 1864 AD).

It detects its first foundation initiatives during the scientific movement in the holy cities of Karbala and Najaf, the scientific impact and exchange of knowledge between those two schools and the preparation of students and devotees.

Then, the researcher highlights the activity of the school of Karbala in jurisprudence and fundamentalism during the period of the ideological and fundamentalist conflict and its impact on the school of Al-Najaf.

The research also focuses on the period (1169 AH - 1756 AD) when Sheikh Bahrani came to Karbala representing the narrative trend.

In contrast, Sheikh Bahbhani was representing the fundamentalist trend.

This conflict led to the development of the school of Karbala which had a great influence on the school of Al-Najaf, especially after the emergence of the Al-Ansari.
