Abstract EN

Language is one of the most important means of human communication through which understanding and relationships between members of society take place, and it has an important role in the transmission of perceptions and feelings.

People have taken body language into consideration for a long time now, and they use it spontaneously and silently without any knowledge of body language.

This type of relationship, inspired by ancient Greece, was known and gained much attention in the late 1920s and became an absolute science.

According to the Arab civilization, Jahiz is considered the first person to find body language, but not separately, but during his research in the science of rhetoric, and he used in most literary texts about the poetry and religious books such as the Qur’an, the hadith of the Messenger (PBUH) and Nahj al-Balaghah.

In this research, the author tried to study body language in Nahj al- Balaghah with possession of the analytical descriptive method.

The investigation of this research indicates that the imam accepted (pbuh) to conciseness through the use of body language.

The use of body language in his speeches, messages and valuable words is useful in this research by more viewers.

We conclude that most of the use of body language was in the sermons of the Imam (PBUH), and the tongue possesses a reluctance often in terms of its use in relation to other organs.
