Abstract EN

The present study tackles the relationship between the ancient Japan geography and the resulted civilization thereof, including the intellectual side, in terms of both literature and religion, the economic , the political, and the artistic side.

Based on the civilizational terms above, the research paper is divided into an introduction and four sections: the first section addresses the impact of the geographical factor on the religious and moral thought; the second highlights the impact of the same factor on the economic life of Japanese society; the third focuses on the influence of the factor on the political thought and system of government in the ancient Japan; while the fourth is concerned with the impact of geographical factor on Japanese art and philosophy.
