The authenticity of inspiration as the inclusion of certain meanings on the hearts of the chosen people of God, is not unanimously accepted by religious scholars.

Some Sunni religious scholars have adopted a modest approach towards inspirational motives; some have gone into the domain of exaggeration and some have introduced personal imaginations, temptations, desires and hallucinations as divine orders that need not be reasoned; some other scholars ask others to follow their approach in regard with the issue of inspiration, and some people stand against them and criticize what they say or fight against them
